Is doing a short range of movement on the leg press a reasonable alternative to assist with the heavy lifts?
Lance, Yes, I do think it would help a little bit. Alot of the success of the heavy lifts is the initial “drive” to get the bar to break the platform. Al
I would think any short ROM movements could be beneficial, as it would help develop the connective tissue that is crucial to the heavy lifts. Squat lockout, DL lockout, short range leg press, etc.
