Dave, that’s a great story. I can relate in MANY ways…..but I think that delusion is important….I still think I’m gonna be somebody and it gets me in the gym and keeps me giving my all…..and you never know when you might get the call to come off the pine and into the game!!!!! Thanks, buddy, that article will fuel a great workout later today!!!!!

Dave you need to write a book. I guess I love your writing so, just cause I can relate. Didnt spend much time on the pine, but learned many of the same lessons from sport. Lessons much more than just a game, like the iron is much more than a heap of metal. write the book, and I will buy it

I AM MUCH OBLIGED FOR THE KIND WORDS. THOM AND I HAVE TALKED ABOUT HIS WRITING AND HE FEELS THAT FOR HIM, IT IS THERAPY. I HAVE TO SAY, I FEEL THE SAME WAY.
MY OLD ENGLISH TEACHER, MR. CONNERS (GOD REST HIS SOUL) WOULD BE LAUGHING HIS ASS OFF AT ET’s SUGGESTION OF WRITING A BOOK….
