          I enjoyed Thom’s story today summarizing the time they had at the MWC. But there is one point I completely disagree with – that he has competed with Chad more than any other athlete.

          I did some checking and counting in “my files” and I believe that distinction should go to me, and not Thom. Chad and I have competed against each other in 44 Highland Games, 47 weightlifting meets, and 5 strongman competitions. That’s a total of 96 competitions!!! I doubt if Thom is anywhere close to this number. And I only counted HG’s that we were in the same class together – not in different classes on the same field!!!

          I demand a retraction.

            Al, you missed a key point and you should not have missed this one. I wasn’t talking about who had competed the most with Chad, I was talking (as always) about ME!!! HAHA Of all the athletes I have competed against, Chad is the one that I have competed against the most! I don’t want to get inbetween the special “relationship” that you and Chad have (also known as “bro-mance”, bromosexual, bromantic, metrosexual, brokeback relationship). You should know, I’m usually talking about me!

                    I should know better by now than try to disagre with Thom. Being a counselor, he does that for a living (diagreeing with people) and knows how to misdirect any debate or conversation to his favor, and then finally uses words that are made up that completely confuses me!!

                    And Dave – I do keep track of things like that. I would have also shared the “head to head” win percent between Chad and me, but that’s nobodys business and I’m not like that!! haha

                        Al has never defeated me in competitions that involved anything other than throwing things or lifting weights. However, when we throw in a battle of wits…….

                        When Al goes to the “counselor” move, I know I have him on the ropes. It’s like taking a knee to get a standing 8 count. HAHAHA
