I know everyone is probably on the “edge of their seat” awaiting the results of the Heavy Lift Champs this past weekend, and I’m working on the meet report right now so hopefully by the end of the day the results will be up.

One thing I will say is that this was one of the best Heavy Lift Champs I have ever attended. Roger did an excellent job of promoting a great comp along with his picnic. We had a large number in the crowd all day.

Also, a new World Record was established in one of the lifts (best ALL TIME). Any guesses???? Al

Heavy lift Championships were a blast. The Atomic Athletic picnic was fun, and a cool venue. And the trip was a hoot (though we struggled for a while trying to get home-but that is another story)

Outstanding job! Eric’s Neck lift is Epic! Sounds like it was a blast. Can’t wait to hear the story about the trip home.

Remember the movie Trains, Planes, and Automobiles???? Well it sorta was like that….or at least the way I’m going to remember it for the story I’ll tell. LOL

PS I’ll drop a bit of it now as it involved ET breaking the law which caused us to be detained for a while. As we waited to be released from the law, our plane took off from Cleveland without us on it.

Did someone get a body cavity search!?

In all fairness, al, I am not sure my detention caused us to miss the plane. It merely set us a little further behind than we already were.
