        Question about rules on deadlift

That is correct, as long as the feet are parallel. Some of the lifts don’t lend them selves to that style, such as the 2 bar deadlift, hack, etc.

Thanks Joe, looks like it is time to experiment.

So, Al, do we allow sumo on teh 18″? I have seen that done before, and it makes it pretty foolish.

That does need to be specified in the rules before the competition. My opinion is NO on the sumo stance. It is a partial lift and using the sumo only decreases the lifting range even more. Plus it just looks goofy.

But we’ll do this in a democratic fashion – so cast your vote here. So far the vote is 2 NO (ET and me) and 0 YES

My plans foiled again!!! I figured this would spark up some conversation, so in reality I don’t care. Heck I will even vote no. But I am gonna find a way to do sumo Jefferson 🙂
