I’ve called Wayne “Staggo” since we first started training. In the early WSM there was a strongman named Staggo Piczko from Holland. He was a HUGE man and he had this little bitty guy who was his trainer who made him look even bigger. We watched those on the Wide World of Sports and Wayne would laugh every time he’s see Staggo Piczko’s trainer yelling at Staggo. It just kinda stuck all these years. He used to call me Bob for Bob People’s because I deadlifted straight legged like People’s and my DL was twice my squat! When I hit a 600 squat he quit calling me that! I guess I earned it!

I’ll take it as a compliment that you think I looked like him!
