After reading Dan’s latest blog on workout supplements, I’m just curious what everyone does here? Also – of the only 4 that Dan states “work”, how many of those have been taken by USAWA lifters?
here is what I take:
Cod Liver oil
Fish oil
Vitamin D
HMB
I take coffee with a workout
I do not respond to creatine. Tried for several years. Come to find out it does not work for everyone.

I have not tried beta-alanine, and doubt that I would try sodium bicarbonate. I have taken creatine, and never noticed any benefit. I have to have my daily coffee fix, and I do believe that helps during workouts.

But seriously I tried taking creatine and never noticed any difference. There was a time when I was young I tried everything that came out. Bought all the hype. Nothing worked except hard work in the gym! Eating square meals, getting plenty of protein and a good nights sleep.
