It was voted in sometime in the 90’s I believe. I’m sure Al will correct me, but it was voted in on the squats

I’m planning on it. Those do look like an akwark combo! I Think that’s what makes the postals fun, doing lifts you don’t see alot.

The only complaint I had with the Australian postal was it was always the same lifts. The beauty of all around is the variety, use it! Steve Gardner always has a world postal series as well. I believe there is talk of a grip postal this year as well

Would it be his wrestlers bridge press of 311? That is pretty unreal!

The h bp hasn’t been contested so hard to say there. I actually train from blocks though for the pullover and press/push so I have a good idea. I can do just a little more than what I bench, 10-15 lbs. I have some shoulder issues as well, so I know where you’re coming from

For the squat, I would say at the time of the contest I was somewhere near 525 parallel give or take and got 800. That was pretty much max effort.

For the deadlift, I really think a lot more variables come into play. I think I had more in me, but I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 to 150 lbs over your floor DL.
Just to ball park. Anyone else?

We made it Timo. Glad you made it out there with us. Those finger deads were unreal. You need a club, so we can have a meet in Finland!

I truly don’t think that if they are lifted on the dirt/gravel like we did that they are at risk. We had no reason to think reps weren’t OK> If you look at the dinnie site, they list everyones reps, even if they’re using straps. I think Peter feels strongly about the reps and tried to make a strong statement to discourage anyone else from trying. I think if that was his intention, it was the wrong way to go about it.
