      Very cool!
I wouldn’t worry about it too much, Dave. It was the heavy hammer…..right?

      😉

        Tedd,
Unfortunately you’re not the only one who would assume Als long marriage would lend itself to good advice. I got some marital advice from Al during nationals last year, and I think we all know how that turned out!

        Bwuahahahahahaha

The scary thing is, I some people actually believe that! Al is a great story teller, and everyone knows great story tellers rarely tell the truth! That’s how they make the stories good. I am a firm believer in a good story! I don’t mind being the brunt, I’ve done things just so I can have a good story to tell, LOL.

Good thing you put Thom in charge of keeping the perves of the board….

They did fly from Boston and I believe they’re heading home on Thursday but have a 16 hour layover in Frankfurt so I’m sure he’ll be home on Saturday. Sounds like a pretty wild trip! He doesn’t have a lot of information. He’s kind of getting worried that he’s going to be the keynote speaker! Hopefully Laverne is going to video this!

What a coincidence! Those were the very 10 lifts I was planning on doing at Thoms tomorrow!

I know a lot of the Iawa-uk guys have a blue collared shirt that looks nice. I think we should get some made.

Thanks Thom, I really appreciate that! Of course I think all of our stories are better told in person, the ones that can be repeated of course, haha

Thanks guys, we just have a few minutes before dinner. Al did get 2nd, he needed to pull 302.5k on his last pull and got it off the floor well, it just got stuck. he realized later it was the dreaded 666 lbs! They never try that in the gym. I really couldn’t have done it without him, he coached me up and pushed me on most lifts. On my trap bar DL, he told me what I needed to do to make it a tough pull for him. He also had caught a virus and didn’t feel the best.
It was a perfect meet for me and it may never work out like that again. I’m very thankful to Al for getting me involved and helping as much as he did!

You must of been there Sunday Travis, sorry I missed you. We came out for just a bit, but couldn’t stay too long.
