i’m all for it. i thought all-around was a nod to this era of strength athlete anyway?

entry fee is waived at this point, just come lift! a member of the 1992 olympic judo team will be there, & it looks as if we will have complimentary chiropractic care provided by maximized living.

al, for no reason whatsoever i started training the one arm BP a couple months ago. i was really excited to see that one as part of the lifts, i’ve got my eye on my first record!

is there a difference between the side press & the bent press? i’m excited for the single-arm challenge…except for this lift.

hey thanks al, that means a lot to me coming from a pro athlete! that’s good news about the page rankings. i was going to shoot you an email about maybe setting up a facebook page for USAWA if you’re interested…we’ll get your mug plastered all over the net! FB has been a big help for boosting my dojo site. i’ll email you about it soon.

i’m not really advanced in age yet, but i’ve been pretty crunchy for about a decade now. several health professionals have told me that as long as it doesn’t hurt, it isn’t a problem. also, i’ve had very good luck with fish oil as far keeping down inflammation & minimizing wear & tear.

thom, i was just giving dave a hard time. he bent over backwards to make sure i left with a shirt.

nice turn on that big caber! i’m sure we’ll get a chance to talk more another time.

had a great time at the games yesterday, thanks to everyone who said “hello”! dave puts on a terrific event. even if he doesn’t order enough shirts.

thom i’m a very proud black belt under steve, he is really one of the best human beings i have ever met. if i accomplish half as much as him in martial arts & strength sports, i will be pretty pleased! when i told him i was getting into highland games, he passed on some of his equipment to me. whenever i would tell him about what type of crazy workout i was into at the time, he’d say “you really need to check out those odd-lifters”.

                                see you in mcpherson!

i was also wondering if the planet fitness people had considered that almost every innovation in exercise science (at least in regards to strength training) has been developed & tested by lunks!
