“mixing things up” is the mark of a true writer, Al.
Just no fluff. LOL
Thom, I liked your last one on the etiquette. Sure, make fun of me when I’m squatting.
Lot of fun, great time. It was good to see everyone. Fantastic job guys!
Didn’t you forget “Go past where the Old Oak Tree used to be”?
Nice article. OMG, I know a famous guy now. LOL
Hmn, thought I posted a response. I like the heavy lifts and so I usually work them in once a week on Monday’s. Normally will do Neck and then either Hand and Thigh or Hip lift. Also adding in Dinnie Stone training on that day. I have been doing more higher rep stuff than low rep for the heavy lifts as I think I am more of a rep guy.
In David Willoughby’s “The Super Athletes”, he gives the dimensions as:
Weight – 172 lbs, Length – 20″, Diameter of Spheres – 8.5″, Circumference of handle – 7.75″ (which makes diameter 2.47″), Length of handle – 4″.Thom makes good points. Couple of other ideas. Imagine that you are picking up a piece of luggage. Your arm would remain straight, by your side and your wrist would not bend, because in the case of the luggage, the weight is all down below your hand. Now just substitute the stick for the luggage handle and maintain the same physical set. Good luck on the lift and welcome to the house.

I don’t receive it. What is the right website?
at home, I lift most of the time in socks. But then, I have horse stall pads down in the area that I lift.
Clarks: No treadmill, no smoothies, no showers, but it is climate controlled. In other words the climate controls the temp.
Think of the age percent adjustment for lifting!!
I know Chad had at least a 600 lb neck.
It may be only the people who registered in the USAWA are listed. Did you register and did they send it in?
What I really liked about their stories, is the common theme in all of them.
