it is OK with medical proof? I have almost no cartilage left,my Doc will say I need them no problem. I did not know this was a option.

lean toward none? the fed already allows wrist wraps for any lift you want, and knee wraps for a few others, and a belt for anything.

haha, good writeup Al,the only thing is that I proposed knee sleeves, and the guys who got mad were pissed about knee wraps being allowed, which they voted in 10 years ago, before I ever knew about the USAWA, Im actually very disapointed by the reaction of a couple of people about this, it was proposed for discussion, if they people didn’t like it, then vote against it, instead there were some fairly unkind remarks made towards me. Besides being fat I am als thick skinned so Ill be back next year to piss some more people off, lol. The Tully bench that I proposed, that I don’t remember proposing is a lift that I’m not sure needs to be included, I think it was actually a DB bench that I talked about, but I talk so much shi_ that I cant remember all the crap that comes outta my mouth.

Jesse, you cant go wrong with the pendlay bar, it will be a great bar for you guys to use!! After you have used it for awhile post a review, would be helpful to other guys on here I think. Al and I had a awsome talk about bars last night, Al has a amazing collection of bars there, including in what my opinion is the best bar made in the last 30 years, the Chapman bar!!

I mainly teach at a private univeristy on Bishop Street in Salina, KS. My curriculum includes badassery and Feelings(and why we dont talk about them, ever). As far as pulications I was gonna write a article for a british magazine on mans place in the world, but I hear they use the word leotard over there, so I declined, and not respectfully!

Well Ive decided I will compete, I think the gym can do without me for a day and will give me a chance to get over to Browning and visit my granparents farm, and put flowers on there plots! So I will be bringin my very mediocre B game!

using 25lb plates instead would help so that the plates dont crash into your legs as bad, other than that it looked good, and i would have passed that lift.

unless it has been changed recently you are allowed to wear tshirts and shorts at local olympic weightlifting meets, I know this as recently as 3 years ago was the fact, because I announced and officiated the last 10 years at the KS weightlifting championships, this was the rule as long the elbows and knees were not covered.

Ill plan on wearing shorts and tshirt that are within the guidelines and focus on lifting, and not on my leotard.
