So, do we get one vote with so many stories? Or do we vote for top three, or maybe rank the top ten…..I think we should be able to pick the top three, three votes per voter, because I know it will be hard to pick just one!!!

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderMike, glad you are coming! I’m not sure if this needs to be said, but to complete the lift the hands must be brought back to the same position as in a clean. I know you probably knew that but any others, just wanted to explain.
PS Get your entries in everybody!!!!!!!

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-Rounderthe Inman Mile….so, does that mean the farmers walk can be a part of the USAWA Strongman contest? What if the Farmers was the same increment of weight as the inman mile. Seriously, Al, I’m curious?
Has anyone actually done the Inman mile, or does it simply become the “best distance”.

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderI’m curious about the pronunciation as well. I called it “sire” for years and I hear people calling it “seer”.

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderFirst of all, thanks Dave for the compliment. I almost didn’t submit this one as I wondered if anyone would find it interesting. Funny how that works.
HAHA, I noticed that right away, too! I thought, “hey, my hands looks really big! and then I noticed how small my arm looked! HAHA. My Dad had hands like catcher’s mitts. He used to by the biggest size gloves and pull them on like they were rubber surgeons gloves. My mom has the smallest hands you’ll ever see on an adult. When they used to can things her job was to scrub out the mason jars because she could get her whole hand in there easily….Thanks, MOM, for the genes…..I get comments ALL the time about how small my hands are so “Thanks a lot for pointing that out, Al!haha”. But on the bright side it’s just a myth about big hands….you know….big hands, big feet…what did you think I meant!

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderMy grandfather used to regularly train with weighted boot (I still have them!) but I never have. I recall him doing several exercises with them and this being one of them.

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderI think Tedd’s last date that Al…..errr….Mr. Dino “helped” him with has finally dropped the restraining order, PETA has called off the protests at his house, and his friends have (mostly) stopped laughing whenever he walks in a room…..other than that, I think Mr. Dino’s advice was awesome!

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderChad….Al is like George Washington, he NEVER lies. He just omits certain parts of the story and changes the order of events sometimes and enhances certain elements by use of association and leaves an element of mystery by making you aware there’s more to the story but then letting your imagination fill in the rest….in other words he’s a great storyteller….I can RELATE to that! hahaha
I want Mr. Dino to write a book on marriage advice…now that would be some good stuff.

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderWelcome! That’s the great thing about All-Round is you can find things you are good at and you aren’t limited to a couple of lifts. I highly recommend making it to Al’s some time for a meet, worth the trip from Denver!

I’m in Missouri, so no help, but I hope some of the East Coast guys will get on here and reply.

Highland Games athlete and sometimes All-RounderTrue story: One time Brett Kerby was bending nails, wrenches, etc in a show and it made the local TV news. They were interviewing kids and some said, “That was awesome”, or something like that….but this one little girl said, “I thought you needed big muscles to do that….but I guess not”! HAHAHA We’ve never let him hear the end of it.
