Great American Bench Press (Albany, KY and remote)
This is a POSTAL meet, many different states and countries in North & South America can all compete simultaneously. The 2025 GREAT AMERICAN BENCH PRESS championship will take place on MARCH 22, 2025 in multiple locations. All results will be sent in by each postal locations coordinator to the meet director and results will be tabulated ASAP! Please let me know in advance how many people from each location may be competing.
This meet will be introducing a new lift for the USAWA, the REFLEX BENCH PRESS. The Reflex Bench Press will contested at this meet for the first time and will be submitted for consideration for the USAWA National Meeting this July. You have the opportunity to make lifting history at the 2025 GREAT AMERICAN BENCH PRESS!

ENTRY FEE: NONE, just let me know you are attending, then have fun lifting & breaking records!

Reflex Bench Press Rules: The rules of the Bench Press apply, with these exceptions. The lift begins by self unracking the weight. The bar must be lowered to touch the chest and then immediately pressed to lockout. There is no press command & the lift ends with a RACK command from the referee. This is a touch-n-go Bench Press lift with the only command being Rack!
RECORD SESSION – Following the competition, each lifter can perform up to 5 record attempts. Please let us know what records you will be attempting so that we can be sure to have the appropriate equipment. USAWA National Records can be set at this meet,
